Design can mean numerous things; there is fashion design, classical art design, interior design, just so many that people don’t even think of it as a talent or even an art within itself. However, in this line of business, computer design is simply described as the most modern type of art. It is an art through technology.

MySpace has become the latest fad all over the world. Every person from every different country logs onto their personalized homepage on MySpace to converse with fellow friends. Besides MySpace being the most excellent place to chat with your friends and even meet new ones. It’s also a great place to really show off your own ideas, your own creativity, yet your own personalized page for your friends to learn more about you, or for people you just met to get to know you.

Around 2003, when MySpace was founded, it wasn’t easy to just Google search ‘layouts’ for your MySpace. Of course, now if you were to Google search MySpace Layouts, you would get a great deal of links to personalize your account the way you want to.

I personally have changed layouts numerously on my MySpace. However, it just never seemed to fit my precise personality. Some sites offer a lot of large fonts, bright colors; it just appeared to be much cluttered. I wanted something more softly, yet vibrant to my sort of individuality. Most layouts I have seen looked like they were not even designed, but more just thought of, which made it look dull.

Most people want classy, yet something that made their page bring their personalities to life. I have found that most layout designers don’t offer a large sum of creative layouts. They all seem to be basic such as; Winter layouts, beach layouts, girly layouts, mov.ie layouts, etc, which is great for new comers that just created a MySpace, or who are around 15 years of age. However, what about people that want something more up to date, or creative, something that doesn’t scream over worked.

In my own opinion, I would have to say that less is more when it comes to this sort of design. No one likes to click on someone’s personal MySpace and have to wait a large amount of time for the page to load because that person decided to bomb there MySpace with a very loud, brightly colored layout, and numerous amount of graphics.

In today’s society, MySpace is the new Phone. Texting is to Comment, as Messaging is to verbally speaking to someone over the phone. So why don’t you find the latest design that fits your individuality to customize your personal page, like you would customize your very own phone.

I’ve researched over a hundred different sites that offer MySpace layouts, and I did find some that intrigued my interest. However the thought of having the same design grace anothers page defies all reason of being on MySpace. To be seen, to be heard, to be know. All facets achieved through individuality and personality. To me it just makes more sense to hire a MySpace Custom Designer to help bring out the essence of what "MY" layout should be and not what someone else pre designerd for the masses. Custom designing for the latest and well known site such as MySpace is not just about the color, the photos, or even the structure of each individual layout. It’s about the effort, and artistic ability that went into it. Something that reads your specific personality, but that also shows how much work went into creating this piece of art.
